Engaging Society
Past experiences with GM technologies have shown that they cannot be developed in isolation from social, ethical and environmental considerations. OpenPlant supports engagement and dialogue with a wide number of stakeholders - including society groups - through a variety of activities. OpenPlant researchers work closely with the Science Art and Writing (SAW) Tust to explore the themes of plants and biological engineering.
